Bringing Babies; Gallops Stable at Pasir Ris Park, Free Ponies and Bunny Petting Zoo

This week we bring our newly minted toddlers to Gallops Stable at Pasir Ris Park. It's free (to enter at least)!
Just a stone's throw from where we stay, so it was really convenient. Wanted to bring them to the real zoo's petting zoo, but it's closed.

Quite crowded on the weekends, with many young kids about, trying to feed the ponies. The older ones were queuing up for their pony rides.

Most people would use the plastic scoop provided to feed the ponies carrots, but I've seen a mother feed the ponies with the carrots on the flat of her palm.

Not ready for his close up

My toddlers were fascinated and moved like they wanted to get in closer, trying to grab the scoop to feed the ponies, but every time the ponies come in up close, they freak out. Hilarious

She looks like she wants to go closer, but you can see her feet firmly planted way back.

There is also a bunny coop, you can look at them, but feeding them is only available on weekdays.

Super recommend this place. The feeds aren't exorbitant, the kids enjoyed it for the most part. Also Pasir Ris Park has huge playgrounds on the western side, past the Api Api River.

Feeds: $2 for a small basket of carrots

Rides: $10 per ride

Parking: Free at Pasir Ris Park Carpark C
