This bag is timeless military chic, so it's gonna be perfect even if you live in SF, wear a plaid shirt with oversized glasses and love sipping coffee in overpriced cafes
The Filson medium duffle is one roomy bag that still miraculousy fits in an overhead compartment.
So what? So you don't pay for check-in baggage that's what
And it's built like a tank. It'll be the only thing left of your house after a hurricane sweeps through. Its body is a canvas of twill that is rain resistant, so the things inside may even be dry. Its copper zippers has leather accents. The removable straps are leather.
Made of canvas so this bad boy will get some scars (patina), makes for a storied bag with a vintage vibe.
The only draw back to the bag is that it's built for bigger men.
I'm one of the aforementioned scrawny hipster and so the straps are a little too long for me. Also If you sling it the bag sort of "breaks" at the middle, which is why I carry it by the handles.
